Each chess piece has been expertly turned from solid boxwood. A very convincing process that gives them the look of real ebony, the black pieces have been 'ebonised'.
Each chess man is perfectly weighted and felted on the base and the 8.89 cm king height makes these pieces ideal for chess boards from 45.72 cm.
