This beautiful 55.12 cm Palisander board, made by the world famous Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain, is the perfect stage for these opulent chessmen.
Expertly crafted from solid ebony and weighted to give perfect balance, these chessmen exude pure luxury.
With his sleek shank and decorative finial, the 11.43 cm king is of a simplistic design yet still a commanding chess piece. The rook and bishop are equally elegant and simplistic but it is the knights that draw attention in this set. With superb detail in the bone structure and facial features together with the intricate detail in the mane, this particular chess piece is more of an ornament.
