This is a chess set combination that exudes understated luxuriousness. With familiar Staunton styling, yet contemporary and lustrous in overall feel, the Templar Series chessmen are from our highly regarded Regency Collection series.

The King stands at 10.16 cm (102 mm) in height and has a distinctive large cross and the sharpest of turned lines. The bases of each piece have a unique lifted look that create the appearance of floating on the chessboard surface. This effect of floating on water is only strengthened by the high gloss finish of the chessboard. Every single figure is hand crafted from individually selected blocks of solid Roswood and Boxwood chosen for colour and grain matching.

The rosewood colouring looks fantastic when placed on the black and maple chequerboard and the colouring is echoed in the deep red/brown palisander border of the board.
