An exquisitely crafted, sprawling chess board crafted by the renowned Spanish artisan Rechapados Ferrer. Montgoy palisander (rosewood) and maple veneers adorn every inch of this opulent creation, including the base, which boasts only the finest wooden veneers. State-of-the-art techniques were employed in its fabrication, resulting in a board with clean, sleek lines and uncompromising attention to detail. The rich, dark reds and browns of the rosewood, with its subtle grain, contrast flawlessly with the lighter, maple squares, creating a perfect accompaniment to rosewood, red sandalwood, or ebony chess pieces with bases wider than 4 inches (101 mm) and king heights of over 4 inches.
