Next to his 11.43 cm frame is a queen chosen for her elegant, Moor-inspired headdress. Their differing styles, expressive and graceful, complement each other perfectly in this remarkable set.
First put on a chessboard to represent professionally trained royal guards, the knights have always been hugely influential pieces. The Constantine knight is one of the most detailed in the Regency Collection, with a long firebrand mane and a flicker of hair covering one eye.
