Beautifully constructed, large, solid sheesham (golden rosewood) chess piece case suitable for chess pieces up to 11.4cm in height. Sheesham wood is a deluxe, exotic hardwood with a very mesmerising patterning of the wood, and is extremely strong and hard-wearing. This makes it perfect for keeping your chess pieces safe for many years.

The sliding lid is also constructed from solid sheesham and has a clever magnetic fixing that keeps the lid tightly closed. The inside of the case is lined with plush, deep burgundy fabric, which provides great protection for your precious chessmen.
