A mid-size Isle of Lewis chess set with a 7cm king, paired with a Spanish walnut chessboard and housed in a bespoke wenge presentation case, crafted for lasting beauty and timeless appeal.

These chessmen are so popular we thought it would be fun to create a complete set with a size-appropriate board - all presented in a bespoke wooden presentation case.

We have therefore taken a classic yet simplistic beauty produced by reputable chessboard artisan Rechapados Ferrer of Spain. This superbly presented wooden chessboard represents great value for money, boasting quality walnut and maple veneered construction. Using modern fabrication techniques, they have produced a board with sharp lines, fastidious detailing and a clean modern demeanour and a perfect companion for our mid-size Isle of Lewis chessmen.

The bespoke presentation case, made specifically for us by the renowned Manopoulos family based in Greece, is the perfect product to present this lovely set and to keep the board and pieces safe. It has been crafted in wenge coloured wood and with its sturdy clasp and a Regency Chess plaque added, The Isle of Lewis and Walnut Deluxe set with presentation case is a very stylishly presented chess set that is a substantial weight and superb quality - ideal to gift to a special someone on a special occasion, or perhaps to treat yourself.
