Inspired by Mughal architecture on the Indian sub-continent, and named after the Hindi word for 'proud,' these luxury chess pieces are perfectly matched on an stunning Italian board.

A unique Italian Chess Board

The Dark Walnut Burl Luxury Italian Chess Board has deep, natural rivers of wood grain that complement the chess pieces upon it wonderfully. Like the pieces, this chess board is handmade by a team of craftsmen who spend weeks creating each one. As far as we're concerned here at Regency Chess, the workshops at ITALFAMA produce the best chess boards in the world. Once both components are carefully finished they are sent over to us here in Frome, Somerset.
