The Executive Series Sheesham and Boxwood Chessmen are hand turned and carved from beautiful hardwoods and are carefully matched for tone and wood grain consistency. The design has a a rather delicate Staunton stroke and exhibits elegant sweeping shanks. The hand carved knights have a beautifully carved mane, detailed teeth and swept back, pointed ears. The king in this set is 9.53 cm (95 mm) in height and has a base diameter of 4.06 cm (41 mm) making the set suitable for chess boards of 50.80 cm and larger. Presented in Regency Chess Company branded packaging.
