A distinctive Flower Series Staunton chess set with expressive knights and a high-gloss black anegre chessboard - expertly crafted, polished, and full of character.

Flower Series Staunton chess set that is a unique take on the classic Staunton design with unique character. The knights have wide-open mouths and appear to be having an in-depth conversation with each other. This version of the Flower Series comes from the genuine originator of the design and has been crafted to an extremely high standard. The polishing of the pieces is of a grade usually only seen on much more expensive chess sets.

Each piece is double weighted with a felted base, and the seamless polishing with crisply defined edges produces chessmen that feel wonderful to the fingers.

The chessboard, at almost 45cm, is presented in a high-gloss lacquer which reflects the chess pieces beautifully, creating a chess set that straddles traditional and contemporary style. The board is constructed using quality veneers of black anegre and maple wood. This is a special and enchanting chess set combination.
