The Atlantic Series Rosewood Chessmen are individually made from single blocks of solid rosewood, giving them a durable construction that is sure to last for generations. The knights have small, neat ears and a toothy smile; their character shines through in abundance thanks to a solid carving that is done by hand by our partner craftsmen. These superb chess pieces have been finished with a fine hand polish, a time consuming process that results in a lacquer free natural shine to the beautiful rosewood that they are carved from.
