Beautuifully finished, high gloss lacquered large chess board produced by the renowed Spanish chess board maker Rechapados Ferrer. Grey ash burl and maple veneered construction is used throughout. The board's base is also constructed from quality wooden veneer. Modern fabrication techniques are used which makes for a chess board with clean lines and meticulous attention to detail. The ash has a beautiful marbled burl grain that appears to move in changing lights. This board is perfect accompanying with ebony or red sandalwood pieces with 9.53 cm (95 mm) king heights.
