Cooke licensed the right to manufacture these chessmen to the firm of\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.jaqueslondon.co.uk\/pages\/about-jaques-london\"\u003eJohn Jacques of London\u003c\/a\u003e, a highly noted wood and ivory turner founded in 1795 (who is still in business to this day).
